The Need

LifeHouse recently relocated to better meet the growing needs of children and families in Topeka and surrounding communities. As demand for services continues to increase, we are seeking support to renovate and expand the new facility to create a safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed environment. The expanded space will provide additional private areas for families, improved forensic interview and waiting rooms, upgraded technology, and room for our growing staff and programs. These improvements will allow us to better serve child victims and their families with the privacy, dignity, and support they deserve during difficult times.

The Vision

The new space allows LifeHouse to serve more children while improving privacy, coordination, and access to services in one centralized location.

  • More child-friendly forensic interview rooms
  • Expanded family advocacy space
  • Increased capacity to serve children
  • Improved training and prevention programming
  • Room for future growth

Campaign Progress

  • Goal: $2.2 Million
  • Raised: $1.5 Million
  • Remaining: $700,000

Impact on Children

This campaign is more than a building project. It is an investment in a stronger, more responsive child protection system — reducing further trauma, helping families to receive support, and helping professionals to work better together.
